Blasphemy Law in Pakistan

In response to recent atrocities by Muslim Fundamentalists in Lahore, Pakistan against Ahmadis and Christians.— Blasphemy Law is written by the blasphemers of Islam who have sidelined the message of Islam as a religion of love, peace and unity, replacing it with hatred, cruelty and oppression.— It is a brand of evil carved by men of zeal and ignorance who don’t even know the meaning of Islam and still claim the privilege of calling themselves Muslims.— Who is going to write a genuine blasphemy law against the blasphemers of Islam who have concocted a plethora of vile edicts to torture humanity in obedience to the commands of their own ego bloated with hatred and hypocrisy?— Deep-rooted hatred indeed acts and speaks through the hearts of these brutal zealots as Lashkar-e-Taiba who call their brethren Ahmadiyya heretics and deem Christians—People of the Book as unbelievers.—Understanding comes by the grace of God and may Allah guide them toward wisdom, harmony and compassion for all God’s creatures.— He who wrongs a Jew or a Christian, will have me as his accuser.—Prophet Muhammad— Ahmadiyya Articles of Faith: Mirza Ghulam Ahmad— I have not claimed Prophethood, but I claim to be a reformer which I do under Divine orders.— I consider anybody who claims to be a prophet after Prophet Muhammad, a liar and a Kafir.— So how can I claim Prophethood and throw myself out of the pale of Islam and join the party of Kafirs.— I believe in the oneness of God as all Muslims do, fast during the month of Ramadan, pay zakat, offer five daily prayers and believe in the ritual of pilgrimage.— I read the same Quran and believe Prophet Muhammad to be the seal of the Prophets.— Mirza Ghulam Ahmad assumed the title of Imam—the spiritual leader of the Muslims (much like Shia Imams and Sunni Caliphs) to guide them on the path to righteousness.— Hadith Al Bukhari— The Prophet said, a Muslim is the one who avoids harming Muslims with his hands and tongue. [1:9-O.B]— The Prophet said, religion is very easy and whoever overburdens himself in his religion will not be able to continue in that way.— So you should not be extremists, but try to be near to perfection. [1:38-O.B]— Prophet said, both legal and illegal things are evident, but in between them there are doubtful things, and most of the people have no knowledge about them.— So whoever saves himself from these doubtful things he saves his religion and his honor.— And whoever indulges in these doubtful things is like a shepherd who grazes his animals near the private pasture of someone else, and at any moment he is liable to get in it.— Beware there is a piece of flesh in the body, if it becomes good the whole body becomes good, but if it gets spoilt the whole body gets spoilt and that is the heart. [1:49-O.B]— Prophet said, religious knowledge will be taken away by the death of religious scholars.— Ignorance in religion and trails and afflictions will increase by killing of each other. [1:85-O.B]— Prophet said, Allah does not take away the knowledge by taking it away from the hearts of the people, but takes it away by the death of the religious learned men till when none of the religious learned men remains.— People will take as their leaders ignorant persons who when consulted will give their verdict without knowledge.— So they will go astray and will lead the people astray. [1:100-O.B]— Prophet said, the most hated persons with Allah are three, an evil-doer, a person who seeks the traditions of the Period of Ignorance and a person who seeks to shed somebody’s blood without any right. [9:21-O.B]— And unto thee have We revealed the Scripture with the truth, confirming whatever Scripture was before it, and a watcher over it.— So judge between them by that which Allah hath revealed, and follow not their desires away from the truth which hath come unto thee.— For each We have appointed a divine law and a traced-out way.— Had Allah willed He would have made you one community.— But that He may try you by that which He hath given you, He hath made ye as ye are.— So vie one with another in good works.— Unto Allah ye will all return, and He will then inform you of that wherein ye differ.— (Quran 5:48)— Profound prayers for Nomi Shahid and her daughter Aliza whose house was torched last March by Muslim Radicals. – Prayers for homeopathic doctor Masood Ahmad who is jailed simply because he is an Ahmadi, and plea to the government of Pakistan for his release and for the release of many more imprisoned Ahmadis and Christians—the victims of brutality and injustice.—May the beautiful city of Lahore with its abundance of gardens and colleges and with its deep reverence for purity in knowledge succeed in dissolving all alien, dark mists of bigotry, ignorance and intolerance. Amen!
