Netanyahu Genocide in Gaza, Rafah

Netanyahu in stark defiance to US continues his spree of genocide, brutalities, destruction in wake of humanitarian crisis that he created with landfill of famine, disease, intolerable of sufferings. Israel has broken the Humanitarian Law a thousand times over and Israeli atrocities continue as the impotent world gazes on without even a grain of compassion that the blood of innocent Palestinians and agonized cries of mothers with crippled babies might earn a two-state-solution, separate Israel and Palestine states for peace in Middle East. Palestine, in fact is the homeland of Palestinians, usurped by Israelis and Jewish settlers from Russia.

Israel alone has the right to attack, to defend itself, is that it, what’s wrong with that picture?

Israel’s unprovoked strike on Consulate in Damascus, Syria, killing seven, including Tehran’s senior general, provoked Iran to retaliate.

Is Netanyahu intent on carving a streak of retaliations? One must be blind to reject that Israel keeps committing genocide, reek of rejections can’t conceal the stench of 33, 000 + civilians dead, more than half of those kids and women. Recently West Bank biggest rampage completely ignored by Israel allies. Also, Israel killing Palestinians while they tried to return to Gaza, turning back under the fire of missiles.

To quote snippets from The New York Times UN report of abuse in Israeli detention, savagery behind the scenes, which are worthy of awakening empathy, if not opening a window of global conscience.  “Palestinian detainees were made to sit on their knees for hours with their hands tied, while blindfolded, deprived of food and water. Being urinated on, badly beaten with metal bars, forced into cages and attacked by dogs. Detainees were also made to lie on thin mattresses on top of rubble for hours without food, water or access to toilet, with their legs and hands bound with plastic ties. One woman was threatened by Israeli officers that her whole family would be killed in an airstrike if she didn’t provide more information. One man was forced to sit on an electrical probe that burned his anus. Some Gazans were beaten on their genitals, aggressively searched and sexually groped. One woman was forced to strip in front of male officers. Some of UNRWA staff members were beaten, stripped, humiliated and abused while being detained by Israeli authorities. During interrogations, they were pressured to say that UNRWA had affiliations with Hamas and that its staff members took part in the Oct. 7 attack.”

Can US ‘Iron-clad commitment’ to Israel stop in wake of Netanyahu’s defiance and his continual spree of genocide in Gaza, Rafah? Call it by name, what it is. It is moral duty of US not to enable Netanyahu with military aid to kill more Palestinians. Instead, morally grand it is, to send aid to the victims of Palestine to avert famine, to heal the wounded, to restore water, electricity to areas destroyed by Israeli bombings, to build homes. To provide shelter, medicine, basic human needs for sheer survival. Anything less than that is unethical, cowardliness, heartlessness on part of whole world, neglecting to protect the dignity of life.

Terrorism can’t be stopped by terrorists. Retaliations generate engines of retaliations. Netanyahu has succeeded in making Palestinians a generation of cripples and it is up to the world to redeem itself by honoring two-state-solution, independent Israel and Palestine, to truncate insanity of Netanyahu.

Still time for intelligent, compassionate Israelis to save the lives of their loved ones held hostage by Hamas. To elect a sane leader who cares for Israelis, listens to God of Israel, commanding peace, not slaughter.

‘Whoever destroys a life, it is considered as if he destroyed entire world. And whoever saves a life, it is considered as if he saved an entire world.” Mishnah Sanhedrin 4:9; Yerushalmi Talmud, Tractate Sanhedrin 37 a

Palestinians plead mercy from the world. World should be able to end Israeli genocide of Palestinians in reminiscence of end of genocide of Jews by German Hitler.

‘There are two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.’ Albert Einstein

‘He is a runaway, who flies from the concerns of society. He is blind, who shuts the eyes of his understanding. He is poor, who has need of another, and finds not in himself all things helpful for life. He is a sore on the universe who withdraws and separates himself from the reason of our common nature and is displeased with the things that happen, for the same nature that produces them has produced you too. He is a social outcast, who cuts his own soul off from one common soul of all reasonable beings.’ Marcus Aurelius

‘Pass then through this moment of time in harmony with nature, and end, your journey in content, as an olive falls when it is ripe, blessing nature who produced it, and thanking the tree on which it grew.’ Marcus Aurelius

Please take a moment to pray for peace in the world and for humanity to evolve into being Human.

Amen and Thank You

PARIS (AP) — Reuters photographer Mohammed Salem captured this year’s prestigious World Press Photo of the Year award Thursday with a depiction of loss and sorrow in Gaza, a heartrending photo of a Palestinian woman cradling the body of her young niece. The photograph, taken in Khan Younis just days after Salem’s own child was born, shows 36-year-old Inas Abu Maamar holding five-year-old Saly, who was killed along with her mother and sister when an Israeli missile struck their home.
