Farzana Moon is a teacher and a bibliophile/Masters in Education. A poet, historian and playwright. Writes Sufi poetry, historical, biographical accounts of the Moghul emperors and plays based on the stories from religion and folklore. Included in her writing ventures are one novella and a collection of short stories. Recent publications: Prophet Muhammad The First Sufi of Islam by Garnet Publishing UK. Romance Quartet by Fable Press. The Sufis and Mystics of the world; Irem of the Crimson Desert are published by ATTM Press. Babur, The First Moghul in India: Divine Akbar and Holy India are reprinted 2nd editions by Hamilton Books. Holocaust of the East is published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing UK.
Participated in author/panel discussions at Columbia University. A collection of her plays are archived at Ohio State University. Many poems, plays and short stories have been published in literary journals and in cyberspace. One of her skits, The Dancing Shiva, is staged by LCC Productions in New York. Born and educated in Pakistan, now a US citizen.
